Mohr

The winery of the family Mohr was founded in 1875 by their great-grandfather and is today run by the fourth generation as a family business.

Amongst the Rheingau wines, the ones from the area around the village of Lorch have an exceptional position – they are specially soft and fine, fruity and elegant. The winery Mohr cultivates about 7 hectares of vineyards primarily with Riesling growing on steep slopes with soils consisting of slate and quartzite.

Winery Mohr practises a vegan wine production and since 2011 their wines are certified biodynamic.

Since 2000 the winery is recommended by Gault&Millau Wine Guide Germany.
